Give yourself the advantage to do everything it takes to help your child survive. You can help your children overcome a critical illness by protecting them with an insurance policy that pays a lumps sum of money in the case of a critical illness. The money can be used for anything such as alternative medical treatment, private health care or simply to spend time away from work as a family.

Coverage ranges between $25,000 to $250,000 for up to 28 illnesses with premiums payable for the first 20 years. You can also add a death benefit equal to 25%, 50% or 100% of your critical illness benefit. Once the policy has been in force for 20 years and premiums are no longer due, you can either keep the policy until age 100 or collapse the policy and have all the premiums returned to you.

$4,435 is the money you can have returned to you after 20 years if you no longer require the policy.
